We offer classes to all ages in a variety of media and processes. Classes are kept small to maintain quality instruction. Personal expression encouraged. . Creative Adult Classes for 2023 All classes are for age 21 and over. Participants are welcome to bring their own refreshments. Class size limited to 12. Making Mini Pots Instructor: Paul Noot Location: BDAC Classroom Three day class: Feb 15, 16 (hand-building) and March 1 (glaze pots) 6:30-8:00 pm $50 All supplies provided. Have fun learning basic hand-building techniques with clay to create unique mini pots for succulents. Finished work will be fired in a kiln and glazed. Each participant will receive a succulent. Register Here Beginning Drawings for Adults Instructor: Paul Noot Location BDAC Classroom March 6 & 13 6:30 – 8:00 pm $40 All supplies provided. Want to learn how to draw but not sure where to start? Are you frustrated with your progress? This basic drawing class will help you get start with some basic skills and techniques that will open you up to the joy of drawing. Graphite and charcoal will be introduced. Register Here Painting Happy Little Trees Instructor: Paul Noot Location: BDAC Classroom Saturday, March 11th 1:00-4:00 pm $50 All supplies provided. This is a basic acrylic painting class. Inspiration will come from Bob Ross and painting trees and clouds will be the focus of this class. No mistakes, just happy accidents. A fun and relaxed approach on making happy paintings. Register Here Exploring Collage Instructor: Ali LaRock Location: BDAC Classroom 222 North 4th Street Saturday, March 25th 1:00-4:00pm $50 All supplies provided. This collage workshop will explore a variety of approaches to making collages with paper, fabric, photos, and other fun items. If you can cut you can collage! BDAC’s collage exhibit opens in April so use this as an opportunity to make art to take part in that exhibit. All supplies are provided but feel free to bring any additional materials such as special paper, photos, fabrics, or interesting magazine or printed images to work with.
